Role Description
This role for a Medical Credentialing Specialist at Med Credential Pro can be a hybrid working environment once training has been completed. This is also a contract, hourly position. The Specialist will be responsible for managing the credentialing process from initial provider enrollment to re-credentialing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Daily tasks include credentialing verification, communication with medical staff, Medicare enrollment, and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of Medicare enrollment processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in healthcare administration or medical staff services
- Certification in Medical Credentialing (e.g., CPCS, CPMSM) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
